Accessory dwelling unit: intergenerational addition

Intergenerational addition to a century-old house

An intergenerational red brick addition attached to a house more than a hundred years old.

Red brick addition attached to a century-old house with a veranda, black shutters and a dark roof

The project at a glance

This century-old house received a single-storey intergenerational red brick addition, like the original house: an accessory dwelling unit (ADU). The black shutters, the paned windows and the dark roof carry the existing style forward so that the addition blends in.

The interior photos show, among other things, a bright kitchen with white cabinets.
