Who is responsible for your personal information?
Atelier FlorA inc., 599 Principale Street, Lachute, Quebec J8H 1Y8. The person in charge of the protection of personal information is Florence Aubuchon, founder. You may write to her at any time with any question about this policy.
What personal information do we collect?
Only what you voluntarily give us, through the contact form, by email or by phone:
- your name, email address and phone number;
- the municipality and address of the work, if you provide them;
- the description of your project and the documents you attach;
- if you subscribe to the newsletter, the date and source of your consent.
Why do we use it?
Only to respond to your request, prepare a service offer and, if you entrust us with a mandate, produce your plans and obtain your permit. We do not sell or rent your personal information, and we do not use it for other purposes without your agreement.
Your consent
Before submitting the form, you check a box confirming that you have read this policy. You may withdraw your consent at any time by writing to us.
Emails and newsletter
We write to you to respond to your request, and only for that purpose. We send you a newsletter or a promotional message only if you subscribe yourself, using a separate box that is not pre-checked, in accordance with Canada's Anti-Spam Legislation (CASL).
Each message states who we are and how to reach us, and includes a working unsubscribe link. We process your unsubscribe request within 10 business days. We keep the date and source of your consent.
Cookies and statistics
This site does not use any advertising cookies. We measure traffic with Vercel Analytics, a tool that does not set a cookie and does not allow you to be identified.
To better understand how the site is used (pages visited, where visits come from, duration), we also use Google Analytics, but only if you accept it. It then sets cookies (_ga) for a maximum of 13 months, and your IP address is anonymized. If you decline, no cookie is set and Google Analytics is not loaded.
Declining is as simple as accepting. You can change your mind at any time with the “My cookie choices” link at the bottom of every page.
Who else can see your personal information?
We use service providers to operate the site and process your requests:
- Vercel, for site hosting and traffic statistics;
- Google Analytics, for detailed traffic statistics, only if you accept them;
- Resend, to deliver the message from the contact form;
- Google Workspace, for our email.
Does your personal information leave Quebec?
Yes, possibly. These providers may host data outside Quebec, notably in the United States. We choose providers that protect data, and we share with them only what is necessary.
How long do we keep it?
If no mandate is entered into, we keep your request for 24 months after our last exchange, then we destroy it. If a mandate is entered into, we keep the file for as long as required by our legal, accounting and professional obligations, then we destroy or anonymize it.
Your rights
At any time, free of charge, you may:
- find out what personal information we hold about you and obtain a copy;
- have inaccurate or incomplete information corrected;
- request the deletion of your personal information or withdraw your consent;
- ask us to stop disseminating information concerning you.
What do we do in the event of an incident?
We protect your personal information with reasonable security measures. If a confidentiality incident presented a risk of serious injury, we would notify the Commission d'accès à l'information du Québec (CAI) and the individuals concerned. We keep a register of these incidents.
A question or a complaint?
Write first to the person in charge: we respond within 30 days. If you are not satisfied, you may contact the Commission d'accès à l'information du Québec (CAI).
